Books and Education
Books I have read and suggest, as well as topics I plan to read in the future and where to get great quality education and information for free.
- The PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge)
- MS Project 2003 Step by Step
- MS Project On Time, On Track, On Target (A hands on guide)
- Currently reading CCENT/CCNA ICND1 from Cisco Press
- For Math and Physics classes, there is no better that MIT’s Open CourseWare. You can audit any classes you find interesting free of charge. I have done this for several lectures and will continue to do so in the future.
- Also following suit Carnigie Mellon University and Stanford are developing similar programs open to the public. There must be a demand, I guess I am not the only one interested enough to persue education on their own
- The Toyota Way – A must read. It will change how you live and work.
- The Power of Less – Leo Babauta
iTunes U now has lots of educational podcasts available. Everything from philosophy to engineering from top universities.
